Meet our founder, Michelle McCracken

Welcome to my unique world of design.

At eighteen, I began to pursue my dreams, and from there ventured into a lifelong journey of property development, hospitality, and design. I was lucky enough to live and work in some of the world’s most gorgeous and hip coastal regions, all of which blessed me with a surplus of inspiration, knowledge and not to mention an eye for unique concepts. Over the years I have individually selected a skillfully talented team to assist me in accomplishing the perfection of design for each and every one of our wonderful clients. We would love to work with you to create an edgy, one-of-a-kind style that will reflect briiliance in Australian design, as well as your unique personality.

Knowing I had the design knack.

Over the years some of Australia and the worlds wealthiest people have purchased my homes. There was a time where I had just finished the design of a home for myself and was busy settling into my new space. Within 3 days of being in this home, a gentleman knocked on my door curious to know if I would be interested in selling. Of course, my answer was "no!". However, this same man returned 3 months later with a cheque in hand and simply made an offer that I could not refuse. I walked out taking just my clothes.

So there I was, on the hunt for a new home. I found a beachfront property on the market, the owners were under a little financial strain and devastated that the property was not selling. They had already invested in an interior designer who just did not make the space shine like I knew it could. I immediately decided to make this my own home and next project.

A few months later, once completed, I invited the original owners to see the transformation and they literally cried tears of joy. They could not believe the breathtaking transformation of their house. Multiple magazines asked to photograph the interior, and after 6 months I again was approached about the possibility of selling! Just a couple of days before Christmas, I was walking out the door yet again with an amazing profit and my personal belongings in tow.

While design is about understanding building, aesthetics, space, proportion, colour, texture, planning, costs and much more, it truly does not come together without, a natural talent, a good eye and plenty of passion.
